(Two Days – R 5,299 plus VAT excluding accommodation)

1. Business Challenge

Modern business is complex. The connection between cause and effect is often obscured. The impact of operational problems on financial results is often delayed.

This complexity and time delay complicates learning. The initiative develops a unique concept that enables the instantaneous bridging of the gap between cause and financial effect. One of the most rewarding benefits is the escape it allows from information overload.

2. Central Concept

The initiative explores the business challenge by means of a simulated hunting game. The activities resemble actual business aspects. Problems have to be solved to succeed at the game. Process capability and variation concepts are discovered. The experience is transferred to the actual business situation.

3. Key Content

The participants are forced to face the reality of the business game. Learning is by a process of discovery and eliminates any hiding place. The most important attribute to bring along is courage.

4. Type of Safari Activity

The initiative covers operator level (hunters) to senior management (MD/CEO/Owner) level. Eleven persons are needed to participate. The players are supported by two qualified facilitators. The duration is two days. Activities centre on shooting at buffalo targets with an air gun. The buffalo "killed" are
sold to the customer. Many typical business problems are encountered. Only if the participants learn to solve these problems can the business survive and prosper.

5. Outcome

The lessons learned result in a totally new and novel approach to business management, which has consistently resulted in significant improvement in business performance.

3. Key Content

The participants are forced to identify real problems in real businesses and thereafter to employ sustainable solutions that will more effectively enable them manage their businesses or departments.

4. Type of Activity

Whilst the activity is “in house” – meaning in a classroom setting, is based upon a full days of activities where everyone participates in the actual identification of problems and development of real sustainable solutions.

5. Outcome
